Graph Types

CFX_GraphicsServer support 17 different graph types....

Each of the different graph types treats it's data slightly differently...

Pie Chart
Takes a single set of data, each point representing an individual slice.

Polar Chart, Line Chart, Bar Chart, Tape Chart, Area Chart, Surface Plot
Takes a number of sets, each with the same number of points.

High-Low-Open-Close and Candlestick charts
Both of these graph types takes 4 sets of data, representing the Open, High, Low and Close values respectively. Each set must contain the same number of points, one for each value to be displayed on the graph.

Gantt Chart
A Gantt chart takes a minimum of two sets of data. The last set represents the end of the last segment, and each previous set represents the start of each segment.

Box-Whisker Graphs
Each set of data applies to a single symbol. If you are using parametric data, you need exactly 7 sets, representing percentiles of 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90 and 95. If you are using raw data, you need enough sets (minimum 7) to hold all the data you wish to display.
